Fulham Palace is a Grade I listed building with medieval origins and was formerly the principal residence of the Bishop of London. The site was the country home of the bishops from at least the 11th century until 1973. The palace is managed by the Fulham Palace Trust and houses a museum of its long history as well as restored historic rooms, art exhibits, carved fragments of masonry and personal belongings of the bishops. It also has a sizeable botanic garden and is situated next to Bishops Park.

Bishops Park

The park was opened by the London County Council in 1983, but existed long before that, being the gardens of the London clergy. It is listed Grade II on the register of parks and gardens of particular historic interest maintained by English Heritage. The park runs north of the River Thames along a broad tree-lined avenue and an embankment path along the river. It contains tennis courts and tables, bowling greens, playgrounds, water play area (open in the summer), as well as a basketball court. A perfect place to spend a family weekend.

Organic Farmer's Market – Open every Sunday (from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.), the Bishops Park hosts a farmer's market selling fresh organic produce.
